Cousin Island

An ultimate destination for bird watchers, Cousin Island is home to more than 300,000 birds on the island. The Hawkbill turtles nest visit the island in season.

L’Union Estate

Located in the island of La Digue in Seychelles, coconut farming used to be the major industry in the area, with its center in L’Union Estate coconut plantation. As the years passed by, the then-coconut plantation was turned into an informal “theme park” where the actual work of extracting oil from dried coconut flesh (copra) can be observed.

There is also the Old Plantation House, which is the location of an old graveyard, a pen for giant tortoises, and a boatyard.
