Happen to be right in the heart of Ibiza Town and want to party it up? No other club would be better to go to than the Pacha Club. This particular club has quite the history to it, and that is not just because of the mere fact that it is the oldest nightclub in Ibiza.
Few words on history
The “Pacha” is a franchising group of nightclubs, located in Spain; particularly, at Ibiza. In fact, this particular franchise’s headquarters can be found right at Ibiza. Despite this fact, however, the first nightclub of the Pacha was not erected at Ibiza; it was put up and opened at Sitges, just right outside Barcelona, the capital of Spain (presumably nearly 43 years ago, around the year 1967).
This did not stop the Pacha, though, from having their most popular, most well-renowned and world-famous branch right in Ibiza Town. It is, without a shadow of a doubt, one of the most famous and well-known nightclubs in Ibiza; and yes, that is saying a lot, on account of the fact that there are so many popular nightclubs in the area (Amnesia and The Privilege, just to name a few). And beyond that, is the fact that it is literally among the top 3 best nightclubs in the whole world. Just check out the poll which DJ Magazine did on the 100 best nightclubs on the planet, just last year (2012).
This particular nightclub is so linked and connected to Ibiza, its headquarters and home, that it has actually marked the popularity and overall growth of the island itself. For a sole nightclub to achieve such a feat is incredibly impressive. However, for being the sole nightclub, among all the other world-class nightclubs out there as well, to be able to do this amongst all the competition? That is truly remarkable.
One of the most defining aspects and elements which make the Pacha elements, would have to be the “cherries”. Being the symbol and logo which accompanies their name (their name “Pacha” literally has a crimson red cherry on top of it), they would certainly not have such a logo and symbol synonymous with their name, if they do not serve it in the clubs themselves. They are known for doing exactly this; though, not only for this.
Another one of the great things about the Pacha is the fact that they love to expand, and improve themselves and their business franchise as much as they can, and as best they can do so. One such example would be the fact that just about 4 years ago (back in 2009), the Pacha purchased El Divino, another popular nightclub situated in Ibiza (just opposite of the Marina, in fact) so that they could make a highly-luxurious restaurant and music bar in one. Another fact and attestation would be their amazing booking skills, and ability to be able to get the best DJs, the hottest parties, happenings, and events, and so many more acts. Why, just some of their events and parties include those such as Pure Pacha, Flower Power, a newly-coordinated party called INSANE, and even F*** Me I’m Famous. And if that is not enough, every year (right around the month of September) the Pacha hosts the DJ Awards right at their most famous and first-class venue, their headquarters right at Ibiza Town.
In direct relation to what makes the Pacha Club so great, no nightclub would even be considered to be in the leagues of their own, without them having amazing surround sounds and overall audio technicals? Yes, the Pacha definitely has those. It is most well-known for (more on what it is most famous for) its haute house music, although, it does have several other rooms which feature many other varying styles and sorts of musical types. In fact, the Pacha’s overall sound quality is just off the charts, that many DJs have nothing more to say about their sound systems, other than, “It is amazing.”
Pacha – Dance Anthems
Since the Pacha loves to expand and improve, aside from having more than just a couple of branches and venues already in Spain alone (of course, with the Pacha Club Madrid being the next most popular venue, only second to the Ibiza venue), they have also expanded way across the whole of Europe, the Middle East, Eurasia, past the Atlantic, and even the land down under. Multiple franchises pepper the Americas – both the North, and the South; two of the most notable of each of the Americas would have to be the Pacha in New York, and the Pacha in Rio de Janiero, Brazil. There are also some franchises located in the UK, Germany, Russia, Egypt, even Morocco and Australia. Truly this is not the end of where the Pacha Club Franchising Group would dare to expand and put up new branches and venues. There is undoubtedly more of them, and from them, to come.
